This costume was woven by Anastazija Tamosaitiene as a commission for the Ringu family wedding in 1975.  Two crowns were included and the clasps on the bodice were made by Antanas Tamosaitis. The seamstress, Elena Galeniene was Julius Ringius’ aunt.  This costume was displayed several times, the first in 1975 at the Marshall Field’s Wedding Fair in Chicago.  It was also part of Tamosaitiene’s weaving exhibition that was shown in South America in the early 1980’s.  All elements were available to be photographed and the dominant colours are blue and cream.
